56) WINES OF WASHINGTON AND OREGON

These two areas have always taken a back seat to California but are now moving up with innovative winemaking, riper fruit and finding out what works best in their respective climates.  Newer varietals from Europe are also being introduced that produce a more modern expression of these wines.

Instructors:  Richard Unti and Robert Peters have taught at the Main Line Night School, Temple University (Ambler Campus) and the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill.  They are members of the Society of Wine Educators.
