40) THE WONDER OF LANDSCAPE QUILTING

This class is partially In-Person and partially Online

FRIDAYS 10/6-11/3 (5 weeks)

Beginning and experienced quilters will piece, sew and quilt a breathtaking landscape quilt that reflects their favorite outdoor scene from a photo or magazine picture. This class is not for beginning sewers but for students who have sewn but not quilted. Each student must have a sewing machine they understand and have used. Students will meet to chose fabric ($20 to teacher) at the first class at Rutledge Borough Hall. The teacher encourages personal creativity and finds Zoom to be a great way to quilt right at home. She will supply a list of needed supplies and good written instructions as well as a demonstration of each step in person and via Zoom where each student can easily see her excellent demonstrations.

Instructor: Alicia Ruley-Nock is an award-winning, self-taught fiber artist. Her influence comes from nature’s elements, colors and textures. Her work has appeared in shows and exhibits nationwide.
