29) AMERICAN ART AT THE PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART

The PMA American art collection spans three centuries of history through painting, sculpture, furniture, silver, ceramics, and more. The tour includes period rooms and the new Gehry-designed Early American Art wing.  Admission includes a ticket to the museum as well as admission to the Rodin Museum for the day of the group visit and the following day (2-day admission to both museums).

Instructor: Reisa Mukamal is an art museum guide and educator and a longtime member of Art Goes to School.

Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130:  Registrants should arrive inside the museum’s West Entrance in Lenfest Hall by 1:15 p.m. to meet the tour guide.
