27) BEGINNING KNITTING: FISHERMAN’S SCARF

Make a cozy fisherman’s scarf while practicing basic knitting skills such as Garter Stitch and Ribbing.  Designed for cold North Sea, fisherman’s scarves have a thick garter stitch ends with warm chest while the knit-purl ribbing cuddles around the back of the neck. Suitable for beginners. The teacher will provide a material list before the first class.

Instructor: Lisa Jacobs is a published knitting designer and fiber artist. She learned to sew and embroider when she was four and has had a needle in her hands ever since.
