TUESDAYS 10/3-11/28; NO class 11/7 (8 weeks)

Throughout the history of classical music, water has inspired composers to capture the seas, oceans, rivers and streams in their compositions. Handel, Smetana, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Strauss, and many others wrote to capture the mood and, yes, the soul of works related to water and music. Today’s composers have continued this tradition. So let’s get ready and listen!
Instructor: Bruce Bogdanoff was a piano soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He is a writer and editor of program notes for their student concerts and a founding member of the Rose Valley Chamber Ensemble.
